DIY Hair Mask Infused with Essential Oils

Your hair produces its very own all-natural oils, but after hair is deprived of moisture and oils, it becomes brittle and more prone to breakage.

Essential oils are absorbed easily into the scalp and hair, thanks to their small molecular size.  They support hair growth and help reduce thinning.  They can help balance hormones that cause hair loss.  They help with conditions like dandruff and dermatitis.

This essential oil recipe promotes hair growth and thickening.

1-2 Tablespoons of Young Living Mirah Lustrous Hair Blend, Mirah Cleansing Oil or argan oil of choice.

Mirah Lustrous Hair Oil, Mirah Cleansing Oil
2-4 drops of each of the following Young Living essential oils.  Drop oils in first and then the carrier oil.  Measurements won't be exact and that's ok.

Rosemary - hair growth
Lavender - shine
Melaleuca A - soothing scalp
Copaiba (optional - boosts the other oils)
Optiional oils: Cedarwood, Clary sage

Mix together and apply to dry hair. Massage gently with circular motions into the roots of the hair.  I also apply the mask to the ends of the hair.

Let sit for 1 hour under a shower cap.

Rinse with warm water and your favorite essential oil infused shampoo and conditioner. I shampoo 2x and rinse thoroughly.

Note:  The drying of your hair make a few extra minutes because your hair is now hydrated.

This mask works for all hair types.

Use weekly for best results.
